The ANH saber of Obi-Wan Kenobi is one the hardest to recreate. Nearly all of the parts were taken from English fixtures that could be found in the day. The day being 1975 or so. In my absence from the site for a while, a lot of information on this saber has come to light. From the handle to the emitter, it was made of the following: An Armitage Shanks British sink knob, A recoil booster from a Browning ANM2 Machine Gun (aircraft gunners rifle), Graflex 3-Cell tension clamp, A British WWI No.3 MK1 rifle grenade, and a Derwent Engine Balance pipe (a bit of trivia, IG88's head comes from the same engine).
