The details of this saber were taken from the image posted on www.starwars.com. Based on a diameter of 1 1/2", the remaining measurements were extrapolated from the image. Seeing that this is still 6 months before release, and 5 months before the release of the E2 Visual Dictionary, this cannot be said to be totally accurate. It's hard to scale off a photograph the size of what they posted - but this should still be very accurate. In ANH, Ben says the lightsaber is an elegant weapon from a more civilized time...this may just be my opinion but this is the first one that i've seen that you can bestow the adjective elegant upon.
